What We Collect

Five things are required: your first name, your last name, your email address, your postal code, and your confirmation that you support the proposal. One is optional: your business name. We do not ask for your street address and we do not ask for your telephone number.

Every entry is recorded with the date and time it was confirmed.

Why We Collect It

Your name identifies you as a supporter. Your postal code shows Council where support is coming from. Your business name, if you give one, is recorded alongside your name. Your email address is used to send you the link that confirms your signature.

Confirming Your Signature

No name is counted until it is confirmed. When you submit the form, we send an email to the address you gave, containing a link that is unique to you. Clicking it confirms your signature and records the date and time. If you never click it, your name is not included.

What is Given to the Town

Two Sisters Resorts Corp. submits this petition to the Council of the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, together with a schedule of supporters. Supporter information is provided to the Town as part of the petition submission and may become part of the public record.

The fields included in that schedule are confirmed with the Town before it is produced.

Measuring How This Site is Used

This site uses Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to count how many people visit and which pages they read. It tells us how many people saw the proposal and whether they read it on a phone or a computer. It does not tell us who you are.

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognise a repeat visit. If you would rather it did not, most browsers can block cookies for a site, and you can also install Google’s own opt-out add-on. Blocking it does not affect the petition form, which does not depend on it.

Analytics is deliberately switched off on the pages that handle your signature. The link in your confirmation email is unique to you, and it is never sent to Google or to anyone else. Those pages load no measurement code at all, and the site instructs your browser to refuse it even if it were ever added by mistake.

The information Google Analytics collects is separate from the details you type into the petition form. Your name, email address and postal code are never sent to Google.

Who Holds Your Information

The information belongs to Two Sisters Resorts Corp. Elite Digital Inc., the agency that built and runs this site, holds it on the company’s behalf and only for the purposes of this campaign. It is not disclosed to anyone else except as needed to run the petition.

Elite Digital transfers the supporter data to Two Sisters Resorts Corp. with the Council submission package, and permanently deletes every copy it holds by January 1, 2027.

When the Form Closes

Please add your name by Friday, October 2, 2026. The form closes at the end of that day. Confirmation links keep working until October 5, 2026, so a name added on the last day still has time to be confirmed. After that this site stays online as an information resource.
